I discovered a new blog today that is now one of my favorite - An Apple A Day just makes me feel good and reminds me of why I'm determined to live a simple life, when all is said and done*. And also move to New England (see photo of the winter New Hampshire, below)

Let's see, how can I show you what I mean? I'll illustrate with excerpts from her New Years post (inserted in between the photos, though note that the photos don't all correspond to her original post, and I'm only quoting bits and pieces.)




"I'm not sure if I can describe how happy I am to say goodbye to 2010. Not because it was awful, on the contrary. I am a sucker for a fresh start, clean slate and new beginnings. It was a busy year and I think I did okay for myself."

"I almost burned down my house. I didn't tame my cats. I made my first bridal bouquet. I saw flowers in my sleep."

Well, I just mentioned him in the Visuals section a few days ago, but today I stumbled across 3rd Ward's site and found that they're funding another photo trip for him and fellow photographer Carrie Shaltz. This is exciting news. Zach is an old chum of mine that I haven't seen for years, but following his progress and his work is super fun for me. I'll try to keep you up to date as well, but I encourage you to check him out yourself.
